It feels like an appropriate night to enjoy a modern classic. Gondry’s imaginative vision and a conceptually rich screenplay form the perfect marriage for one of the most heartbreaking and touching love stories I’ve ever seen in film.
Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet are mesmerizing. The supporting cast is brilliant, featuring Tom Wilkenson, Kirsten Dunst, Elijah Wood, Mark Ruffalo and David Cross.

See, the thing is…
I will wait as long as it takes for us. I pray everyday throughout the day for us to happen, and we’ve gotten this far, and I’ve fallen I’n love, I think for a reason. It says in the bible, if you have the true love and desire for something, God put it there for a reason. And it’s not going away any time soon. I’m giving you your space so we can both figure things out. But in the mean time, we’ve grown apart, and I don’t like it. I just wish you or God would give me an answer soon. There’s gotta be some reason for me to feel like this. But true love is patient, so therefore I will be. I just hope this comes together soon, because my heart is having a hard time handling all of this. My heart knows what it wants, but my head is confused on what God wants… I’ve given this problem to Him, but nothing has come forth yet. Hopefully some prayers will be answered soon.
